TTOX AWARDS

The TTOX Awards celebrate the people, games, and initiatives that are shaping the tabletop gaming ecosystem in India.

The awards recognise contributions from across the community — including designers, publishers, organisers, and creators who are helping tabletop gaming grow in India.

The awards also help spotlight original tabletop ideas emerging from India — celebrating games and creators whose work has the potential to travel beyond borders and represent India on the global tabletop stage.

The TTOX Awards are designed to be transparent, participatory, and community-driven, while also culminating in a live final round at TTOX where the winner is chosen.

This multi-stage structure ensures that the awards reflect both community recognition and real engagement at the convention.

How the TTOX Awards works

The awards follow a four-stage process designed to gather community input, shortlist deserving nominees, and celebrate them at TTOX.

Stage 1 — Community Data Collection

In the first stage, inputs are collected from the tabletop community across India.

Participants submit names of games, creators, publishers, communities, and initiatives they believe deserve recognition.

The goal of this stage is to build a broad dataset of contributions from across the ecosystem.

All nominations received during this stage form the master list for the awards process.

Stage 2 — Community Shortlisting

In Stage 2, participants review the compiled list and select their top five choices within each category.

This step helps identify the nominees that the community most strongly recognises.

Based on these selections, the Top 5 nominees for each category are determined.

Stage 3 — Open Community Voting

The Top 5 nominees are published on the TTOX website.

At this stage, anyone from the global tabletop community can vote for their preferred nominee.

This open voting phase allows the wider community to participate in recognising the contributions of the finalists.

Based on the votes received, the Top 3 finalists are selected.

Stage 4 — The TTOX Final

The final round takes place live at TTOX.

The Top 3 finalists will present their work or contribution to the audience at the convention.

TTOX attendees will then vote to select the final winner.

This live format allows the community to hear directly from the finalists and celebrate their contributions together.

Why This Format?

The TTOX Awards are designed to balance several important goals:

  • gathering input from across the tabletop community
  • ensuring transparency in the process
  • allowing global participation
  • celebrating finalists in a live community setting

By combining community nominations, online participation, and a live final round, the awards create a process that is both inclusive and engaging.
